Andrew "Test" Martin was involved in a car crash in Tampa, Florida on Friday night when he lost control of his Corvette and hit a parked car. No one was injured and he passed a field sobriety test. As of yesterday, no charges have been filed.
The ECW (and Smackdown) stars are currently on tour in New Zealand. Bobby Lashley and Kelly Kelly took part in an autograph session yesterday. Kelly was well received by the New Zealanders because they chanted her name at the event. "The fans chanted my name. It was awesome," said Kelly. Click here for an article and photos from this.
Former ECW manager Judge Jeff Jones remembers his friend Mike Awesome in this article.

In an update to our earlier report, Andrew "Test" Martin has in fact been suspended by World Wrestling Entertainment for violating the WWE Wellness Policy. His suspension will run for 30 days. He's eligible to be on television should WWE need him, but as a general rule, suspensions are really only for house shows. That explains why he hasn't appeared on the most recent weekend house show events. Also, Test won't be paid during his suspension

After witnessing the 1/16 ECW show, Vince McMahon vowed that ECW on Sci Fi would never go live again. However, he's since changed his mind and the show will continue being aired live. He realized the problems that making the show taped would bring, and he decided to just let the idea go. It is now a dead issue.
Vince McMahon does see Wrestling Society X as a threat, which is why he has been putting some more effort into the ECW on Sci Fi program in recent weeks. A few weeks ago, McMahon had been quite negative on ECW, but he now has an increased interest in pushing it due to WSX. McMahon's appearance on ECW on 1/30 was done to combat WSX's official debut on MTV. Also, having Bobby Lashley appear on RAW to give him some extra exposure, having ECW guys appear on RAW, acknowledging the show & building angles on RAW to hype ECW is due to WSX as well.
As reported earlier, Dusty Rhodes is now on the creative team for ECW. ECW head writer Dave Lagana wanted Rhodes on the team so that he could help him. The only other writer helping him was a person by the name of Pantelis Ypsilantis. Rhodes' move to ECW had nothing to do with ECW because it happened before anyone realized that WSX was going head-to-head with ECW on Tuesday nights.

Apparently, Andrew "Test" Martin has been suspended. Test has been pulled off the road due to the WWE Wellness policy. This is the first WWE Wellness policy violation since September, at least that we know of.
The policy calls for talent to be suspended for 30 days should they fail a drug test. Also, some of the talent have a way of getting around the program. If the person tests positive for steroids or some other substance in violation of the policy, the person can still get around the suspension if the individual's next test shows a decreased usage of whatever substance he or she is using because it shows that he or she is trying to improve him or herself. But if the test shows no marked improvement, the individual will get suspended.
Vince McMahon had recently given up on pushing Test as a top headliner in ECW. That's why he was beaten in all of his encounters with Bobby Lashley.

source:24wrestling.com Rey Mysterio Jr. has been advised by doctors not to return the ring due to the excessive knee damage he has sustained. In terms of story line, WWE's web site put up a tidbit that he was re-injured by Umaga's vicious attack on Friday night, setting back his intended return.

Jeff Hardy and Mr. Kennedy are part of the JAKKS Money in the Bank toy set, an indication they have been slated to be involved in that match.
The other three participants in the match are Edge, CM Punk and King Booker (who defeated Kane in a Money in the Bank qualifying match at Tuesday's SmackDown taping). Throw in Jeff Hardy & Mr. Kennedy and that leaves one spot left in the match

Batista is featured on the cover of the latest edition of WWE Magazine (March 2007 issue). This month's 'Fantasy Warfare' is between Batista and Brock Lesnar. Unsurprisingly, they say that Brock Lesnar would be no match for Batista and his 'power & surprising speed', which would catch Lesnar off-guard. Also, once 'Lesnar's go-to-grappling attack fell short, he'd be a demoralized heap, primed and wide open for a Batista Bomb'. The magazine also takes aim at Bill Goldberg by saying that the 'Goldberg' chants were piped-in. There was a feature in the magazine talking about "The Belt Of The Future" and what accessories it would have. The magazine wrote, "Bose Speakers: For those times when the piped-in crowd chants just aren't enough. Hear that Goldberg?"
J.R.'s latest blog is up. Ross talks about Randy Savage, Steve Austin's return (he thinks he'll be back within a month), Brock Lesnar, Hulk Hogan, and more. In regards to Hogan, J.R. believes that he didn't serve himself well by going on a radio show last month and revealing the possible candidates for the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Developmental wrestler Kofi Kingston has been moved from Ohio Valley Wrestling to Deep South Wrestling. Kingston is one of WWE's best prospects.

John Laurinaitis had to get the brunt of Vince McMahon's furor after Laurinaitis' secretary Ann Russo was unknowningly on the air during the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show two weeks ago. McMahon was angry to say the least. He doesn't like the names of who he's approved of getting out before they announce them, much less the names of those even being considered. Without telling her, Hogan put Russo on speaker phone when she read out the names being considered for this year's WWE Hall of Fame ceremony to Hulk Hogan. After she was done, Hogan told her that she was on 'Candid Camera'. She was not amused and told Hogan that she could get in trouble. And of course, Laurinaitis ended up getting the heat for all this.
WWE has made another change to their pay-per-view schedule, at least according to the information that is made available for WWE's media affiliates. Two of the pay-per-views have exchanged locations. The Great American Bash on July 22 has been moved from Washington D.C. to San Jose, California. Cyber Sunday on Oct. 28 has been moved from San Jose to D.C.

Last week, the idea of putting someone new into DX to make a new top level star and to also give Shawn Michaels a tag team partner was discussed. Triple H nixed the ideas immediately. Also, Ric Flair is expected to work as an honorary DX member at house shows in which he teams upw tih HBK to take on Edge & Orton, but he won't be allowed to be put over and put into DX on television.
After discussions during the week, there is still nothing definite for WrestleMania. Although, the Batista vs. Undertaker World title vs. streak match is the closest thing to being a done deal. Also, Cena vs. Shawn Michaels, but the match doesn't seem likely. One of the reasons for that match not taking place is because they don't want two face vs. face matches on top because there are no plans to turn any of the four individuals heel at this point. Although, had Triple H not gotten injured, they would've gone with two face vs. face matches. At the moment, Edge and Orton are the two leading candidates to face Cena at WrestleMania. There is also talk of a three-way between Cena, Edge and Orton.
WWE.com has revamped the WWE Divas page with a cool new flash graphic. They've added the ECW girls to the page as well. The two lone exceptions from the page are Vickie Guerrero and roller-skating girl Cherry, so maybe they don't consider them to be WWE Divas. Also, Brooke Adams doesn't have a profile on the site yet, but she probably will soon.
Michelle McCool turns 27 years old today. No word yet on when she'll be returning to television, although she's now healthy enough to appear at shows if needed. Her television return seems to hinge on if WWE wants to continue using K.C. James and Idol Stevens as a tag team on SmackDown. They were taken off the road as soon as McCool got sick back in November. The tag team is currently down in Ohio Valley Wrestling.
